Insurance policies that include long-term care coverage can offset the out-of-pocket costs of care. When clients and families consider In-Home Care, Companions in Caring advisors recommend contacting Member Services about applicable coverage if there is uncertainty.
Our insurance coverage procedure helps families obtain coverage and qualified care. The bi-monthly invoice is sent to the responsible party (RP) and they make payment to Companions in Caring. Our office will send supporting documents to the insurance company, including invoice and payment, daily care notes, license certificate, and more. The RP is reimbursed, with a covered amount based on the terms of coverage.
