After-Rehab Care

Following surgery or illness, our aides provide the personal care, assistance, and emotional support needed to resume the Client's previous routine, in and out of bed. 1-on-1 attention sustains the healing and strengthening progress, prevents interruptions in recovery (from therapists' absence), and sustains motivation.

Companionship is a commonly underestimated benefit of 1-on-1service. Oftentimes, it can be nearly as important as meeting essential needs. Companionship is the basis for richer, meaningful living, as well as a prompt response to an emergency.

Respite Care

We help family caregivers understand that you need time to rest and recharge. Our respite services give you unhurried time to run errands and meet with friends for your well-being. We maintain Client schedules, whether it’s for 4 hours a day, 4 days or week, or more.

Hospice Care

Companions offers gentle, kind, and experienced hospice support. Aides work alongside hospice to "fill in the gaps" when they are absent. Our 1-on-1 care is also a reassurance to the family during this emotional time. Our aides are available hourly, overnight, or 24/7, providing comfort and peace of mind.

Memory Care

Memory care is a form of residential long-term care that provides intensive, specialized care for people with memory issues. Many assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities and nursing homes have special memory care “neighborhoods” for dementia patients.
